Arta Gallery is pleased to present a curated exhibition featuring dynamic photographic artists that expand the medium through evocative aesthetics. For the show, Arta brings together a collection of Canadian talent that explores abstract and realist styles in photography, culminating to an eclectic array of artworks.
Lens Flare is a phenomenon wherein light is scattered or flared in a lens system, often in response to a bright light, and usually results in an undesired effect aided by work embodying the power of patterns and single gradients of color. However, these artists take inspiration from the unexpected, and turn their unique content into valuable perspectives.
One key element that is explored throughout the exhibition is the use of color and motion in the photographic medium. Simple yet sophisticated landscapes become vibrant scenes of emotions, while unsuspecting structures in the terrain become forms of voluptuousness and expression. In addition, the use of motion in the human form will be explored. Ultimately encapsulating and contrasting the multitude of fundamental forms used for the creation of emotion across the medium.
