This recycled metal mask is primarily formed from recycled auto parts: a stainless steel muffler and exhaust parts. The indents reminded the artist of tattoos. Layers of paint were added and then sanded away to give a variegated surface. MAORI HIPSTER is a colourful character at home in both the tribal and hipster worlds.
