Christian Children's Fund of Canada (CCFC) is proud to bring the Children Believe photo exhibition to Arta Gallery, as part of the 2019 Scotiabank CONTACT Photography Festival. This collection of images documents the strength and hope of children, families and communities, as seen through the lens of international documentary photographer, Juris Kornets.
Children Believe runs from May 22 to June 5 at Arta Gallery in the Distillery District, 55 Mill Street, in Toronto.
Hours: Mon–Wed 10am–5pm; Thu–Fri 10am–6pm; Sun 11am–5pm.
The Children Believe photo exhibition raises awareness to obstacles standing in the way of children’s education, dreams and potential; and also recognizes the impact that Canadian donors’ care and commitment makes on more than 700,000 children, families and community members around the world, each year.
The opening event reception for Children Believe is Thursday, May 30, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. CCFC CEO, Patrick Canagasingham, will be joined by Belinda Bennet, Chief International Programs Officer; Nancy Anabel, Country Director, CCFC India; and Gutu Tesso, Country Director, CCFC Ethiopia.
Admission is free.
