Lynne Schumacher’s love of nature and specifically trees and water is portrayed in her realistic paintings. Although Lynne began painting at an early age, over the years she has refined her style and her genre and is the recipient of many awards.

When Lynne started to enter Juried Shows etc. in 2010, great interest was shown in her artwork and the awards followed. For example, Lynne received both the Best in Show and People’s Choice Awards at the Brampton Beaux Arts Open Juried Show for her painting of “Beaver Dams”. She has continued to win awards through the years at Visual Arts Mississauga Juried Show, Vaughan Juried Exhibition, Artworks Oakville, Lakeshore Arts “Through the Eyes of the Artist” Open Juried Show, Headwaters Art Festival, Franklin Carmichael Annual Juried Show, Credit Valley Artisans Christmas Show, Colour and Form Society Biennial Show and more. Over the past few years, Lynne’s focus has changed to concentrate on her paintings and she has not entered shows for some time.

Lynne’s paintings have also been featured in Canadian Brushstrokes magazine – “Last of the Autumn Leaves” and “Under the Canopy”. Lynne’s professionalism and dedication to her work has been amazing and she is well supported by her family members. Her art has developed over the years and continues with new and exciting paintings.
