THE RED SOLITUDE - March 24 - April 6, 2006

Kiavash Hamidi
Opening Reception: Saturday March 25, 4-7pm

The photographs presented in the Red Solitude Collection have been taken using three over lapped filters of selected colors to generate and at the same time intensify the color Red in the medium. This style of photography is called "Black and Red" by the artist. No digital alteration or manipulation has been done on any of the photographs. It is worth to mention that all the people present in this collection have been photographed in daily life situations and the scenes are neither choreographed nor prearranged.
