Korea Intangible Cultural Heritage

We are delighted to invite you to a special exhibition at Arta Gallery:

Korea Intangible Cultural Heritage Week 2025

ONCE UPON A DAY OF LADY KIM with K-Craft

September 11- 23, 2025

10 AM - 6 PM

This extraordinary exhibition presents the beauty and depth of Korean traditional craft through the lens of Lady Kim, an imagined female figure inspired by historical references from the late Joseon period.

Through five immersive spatial zones, the exhibition guides visitors into a day in the life of Lady Kim, reconstructing her rituals of grooming, adornment, sewing, making, and caregiving. Each space reveals the quiet strength, creativity, and refined sensibilities of Korean women, while showcasing how craft and daily life were deeply intertwined.

We warmly welcome you to join us and explore this journey into tradition, artistry, and the timeless wisdom of Korean women.

We look forward to seeing you at Arta Gallery.

Warm regards,

Fay Athari

Curator and Art Director
