As a child growing up in mining country he found himself drawn towards abstract expressionism, finding the works of artists such as Henry Moore and Barbara Hepworth both inspiring and liberating. The natural environment and especially time spent on, or near, water have had a significant influence on his work.Educated in Fine Art and holding an honours degree in Product Design, Jeremy Guy has been a full-time sculptor for approximately 20 years.
