Kendall Ayoub
EDUCATION
Kendall Ayoub studied Fine Arts at Bennington College in Vermont for 2 years, and graduated from Concordia University with distinction, earning her BFA with a major in Painting and Drawing. She studied Fine Arts in Italy through a drawing course, and completed a painting tutorial with artist and professor Tom Hopkins in Montreal.
AWARDS
Kendall is a two time recipient of the Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation Grant for excellence in figurative/representational painting and the recipient of Concordia´s Fine Arts Development Award.
EXHIBITIONS / ACHIEVEMENTS
Kendall has held exhibitions in Toronto, Montreal and the US. In 2002, Kendall was invited to the Taft School in Connecticut as a Rockwell Visiting Artist, where she gave a lecture on her work and taught portraiture techniques to Fine Art students. Her work hung at the school´s Mark W. Potter Gallery in a solo exhibition entitled "Personalities" through November.
COMMISSIONS
Kendall received her first commission in 1994, and continues to paint for individuals and businesses. She has paintings in private collections throughout Ontario, Quebec and the US.
